Herbeau Creations of Lille, France - a manufacturer of superbly crafted authentic French Provincial faucetry since 1857 - offers this single bowl Fireclay Farmhouse Kitchen Sink. This kitchen sink may be used in a drop-in or undermount application. 3 1/2 inch Basket strainer sold separately. Fireclay is a variation of vitreous china that has greater amounts of quartz and feldspar in the clay material. It is denser, thicker and approximately 30% heavier than regular clay. These characteristics allow for a durable, smooth, flat surface on large fixtures not attainable with standard vitreous china. PLEASE NOTE: Fireclay kitchen sinks have slight variations in size, and also all four sides of kitchen sink have a slight pitch.
