This 72-inch Earl Pedestal bathtub by American Bath Factory is crafted from two 1/4-inch sheets of high-quality cast acrylic, bonded together with a patented crushed stone/resin compound to give these tubs thickness, strength, and weight. The multiple layers of materials make the bath tub almost a full inch thick. This process produces a bathtub with the same unmatched high-gloss shine inside and out. The integral skirt is included with this bathtub. The plumbing connection diameter of the tub is 2-inch. The pedestal based tub includes no faucet drillings. The exterior is hand-smoothed, then primed and painted a durable semi-gloss white. This American Bath Factory bath tub contains a 17-inch maximum water depth and has a 72 gallon water capacity.
